His work ethic was forged the Southern Illinois way: he went into the coal mines at 18 and spent 12 years underground, 8 of them in management. From there he became an IBEW Journeyman Lineman, spending 8 more years keeping the power on in all weather, at all hours. When Daniel says he’ll show up and get it done, that’s not a slogan — it’s two decades of proof.

Off the clock, Daniel is a family man through and through. He’s married to his best friend, Brooke, and they have three kids: Jack (5), Rossi (12), and Wyatt, a freshman at SIU. He’s an avid outdoorsman, a proud farmhand at Rossi’s Flower Market — his daughter’s u-pick flower operation — and if he’s not at work, you’ll find him at a ballfield somewhere.
